So is image stabilization. It used to be that if you wanted to guarantee a sharp image, you either steadied your camera on a door jamb or placed a tripod beneath the camera. Now you can purchase point-and-shoots that have a floating element in the lens which compensates for camera wobble. I wouldn’t buy a camera without it.
